Problem:
How to change the inactivity timeout for remote control
Remote control session keeps timing out.
Remote control console keeps losing connection to the client.
Fix:
The following registry key is set on the client computer:
HKLM\Software\Intel\LANDesk\wuser32\InactivityTimeoutSeconds
VALUE: InactivityTimeoutseconds
TYPE: REG_DWORD
For LDMS 9.6 clients:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intel\LANDesk\WUSER32
Value: InactivityTimeoutMinutes
"a" = 10 minutes
"aa" = 170 minutes
"b" = 11 minutes
NOTE:
The InactivityTimoutseconds key sets the number of seconds to allow a Remote Control
session to continue when there is no activity in the viewer window. If
this value does not exist, the default of 600 (10 minutes) is used
